Looking for how to get rid of uric acid crystals naturally? Then you've come to the right place. Here you'll discover 3 simple tips on how to get rid of gout crystals without drugs.
The uric acid crystals that cause your horrible gout symptoms are formed when your body has high uric acid levels in the blood.
Uric acid is produced when purines in your body's cells metabolize during the process to provide you with your protein and energy needs, as well as protecting your cells from cancer-causing agents, and other great benefits.
The uric acid produced, as a result of purines breaking down, is processed through your kidneys with most being excreted through urine. The relatively low level left in your blood is beneficial.
But if your kidneys aren't working efficiently for some reason, or, too much uric acid is being produced, then not enough acid is being expelled. Excess is then retained and circulated in the blood at higher-than-normal levels. Crystals are then deposited in your joints causing agonizing gout.
Drug-based treatment uses things like NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs), colchicines, and corticosteroids to help reduce the inflammation and relieve the pain. Other drugs such as allopurinol and probenecid are used to lower uric acid blood levels.
This mainstream treatment works very well most of the time for most people, but, it does have some pretty serious side effects. These are things such as vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, stomach pain, ulcers, bleeding, skin allergies, lowered immunity to fight infection, bone thinning, etc.
So, many more gout sufferers are seeking natural remedies for their gout. Natural remedies that can reduce inflammation, relieve pain, lower uric acid levels, and, get rid of gout crystals. And there are very many home remedies out there, far too many to describe here. But here are three for you to take a look at...
WATER
This has got to be one of the most important home remedies for gout. Most people are dehydrated on a daily basis and this is particularly bad for someone with gout. Gout crystal formation is easier under these conditions.
Water can help prevent uric acid crystals forming, but even once the crystals have formed, water can aid the process to excrete them from your body. Drink at least 12 glasses (8oz) of water on a daily basis, distributed evenly throughout the day.
VITAMIN C
Studies have indicated that vitamin C can lower uric acid in the blood. You can get plenty through fruit such as oranges, tangerines, mandarins, etc. But you can also get it through vegetables like potatoes, red cabbage and red bell peppers, etc.
Another way, especially if you are in the middle of an attack, is to take vitamin C supplements. Talk to your doctor about how much to take for your particular case and background.
HERBS
Some herbs, such as nettle, contain alkaloids which can help to neutralize uric acid. Others, such as hawthorn and bilberry, contain anthocyanosides which have anti-inflammatory powers. Others, like black cohash, have shown to be able to control blood acidity to help fight gout.
These are a very small sample of natural home remedies that can help ease gout symptoms, lower uric acid levels, and, get rid of uric acid crystals from your body.
An important issue, though, is to prevent recurring gout. This can cause serious complications over time if not addressed, e.g. permanently damaged joints and kidney problems such as painful kidney stones.
You're in luck though. There's a special gout report available online that has all the information you need in one place. It is what thousands of ex-gout victims worldwide have successfully used to prevent their gout returning. It also contains a special 2 hour gout pain relief program.
And it uses fully-researched, totally natural methods. So that you benefit two ways: (1) you get rid of your excruciating pain very fast, and, (2) you prevent your gout returning, so that you reduce the risk of permanent damage.
If you want to get fast gout pain relief, plus, prevent your gout returning in the future, then go to http://www.thegoutsite.com and discover how you can quickly do both without expensive drugs with their horrible side effects.

QUESTION:
How fast do Uric Acid Kidney stones form?
It seems like the night after I eat meat (1/2 lb of beef or chicken) a I get a stone. I'm primarily vegetarian now, but this has happened the last two times I've eaten meat and I'm wondering if this is normal and can be expected every time I break my no-meat diet? The first time it happened I'd been meatless for 2 weeks, second time was 2 weeks after that.
-
ANSWER:
Uric acid stones form over time, so it is unlikely that one meal of meat can instantly form a stone. If you are getting stones so frequently and you have it properly confirmed that they are uric acid, you need to see a suitably qualified professional about a low uric acid diet.

QUESTION:
What can I eat to prevent kidney stones?
I had 2 procedures done to remove my kidney stones. Now I am scared to get them again, although I was told I had another one but to wait three months to see if I could pass it. If not, I would got through one of the procedures again. I was given a pamphlet that said to limit my intake of chicken, pork, fish, eggs, pork, and beef which produce uric acid stones. And limit coffee, tea, and the list goes on for the prevention of calcium stones. So what can I eat? I feel so discouraged. I was previously in a diet before I got ill with these kidney stones where I lost 35 pounds and eating fish and chicken was what I would eat, now I can't. I also limited my carbs intake because that is all is what I ate due to almost being diabetic. So now what? Will I have to become a vegetarian? Can someone please help me. I am so discouraged!

QUESTION:
How to get enough calcium and protein in my diet?
Hello to everyone reading. My husband and I are both healthy eaters. We both enjoy a healthy, balanced diet and exercise. However, I have an issue. While I love most fruits and vegetables, and get my daily intake, I absolutely hate milk, and most dairy products. Also, meat turns my stomach a lot of the times, because I am have the Mirena, and I take an estrogen supplement, because of my Endmitriosis.
The estrogen seems to give me a bit of nausea sometimes, mostly concerning meat and eggs. The smell of them cooking causes my stomach to turn. I know that beans, and peas, and other vegetables contain protein, and iron. However, because of the Endomitriosis, I tend to be a bit anemic, so meat is a necessity for me. I cannot take iron pills, because I also have an issue with my kidneys, I make uric acid stones, and iron pills can make them worse, as can soy.
Also, I despise milk. I do not like the taste of it at all, so I bought some chai syrup, which I love. I add a tablespoon of it to my milk, and I can drink it. Though, it is quite sugary. Is that completely ruining the benefits of drinking milk? I force myself to eat yogurt, but I am not a huge fan of it. I do take a calcium supplement, but with my hormonal issues, I need my bones to be in the best shape they can be, for my old age, lol.
So, my questions are...
1) How can I make sure I get enough protein and iron?
2) Does the sugar in the chai syrup completely cancel out the benefit of drinking the milk?
3) What other ways can I make sure I get enough calcium?BQ: Any women out there who have insane hormonal issues, who might be reading this. Have you ever had your hormonal supplements make you sick, and unable to eat certain things? If so, how did you get past it?
Thank you to everyone who reads. Please, do not tell me to talk to a doctor, I have already obviously done that, I am just looking for new/other ideas.
Please and Thank you!

ANSWER:
try a Whey protein supplement. The bioavailabilty of it is approximately 98% as where a chicken egg is approximately 90 when cooked. Soy tends to upset the stomach any way. But soy does have its benefits for menopausal women such as helping with hormone levels. Daily recommended intake for calcium is 700 to upwards of 3000mg a day. I would recommend no more than 1500-2000 really cause you can develop kidney stones. As for the syrup in your milk its a great alternative to Chocolate syrup. And its probably sucrose based which is better than fructose. besides milk there are supplemental pills that range from 100-250 mg. A daily mumultivitamin specifically for women is also available. I recommend the GNC women's one to all my female personal ttraining clients because of the slow disintegration rate so it gives you a constant influx of vitamins and minerals.
You can try supplementing with soy isoflavone too to help with hot flashes and what not.

QUESTION:
Sharp pains in bladder just before and while I urinate!! 5 days now!
?
Ok, so I played basketball for like 3 hrs in 95 degree heat on Saturday. Was pretty dehydrated after, but was okay and recovered. The next day I went to pee and the right side of my bladder had these sharp stabbing pains! It's not up near the kidneys.. it's below the belly button to the right close to the groin. It feels a somewhat better after I'm done, but still has a sharp lingering pain all the time. Then when I have to pee again (i guess as the bladder is full) the intense pain comes back! It hasn't gotten any better and is now Wednesday. Went to the doctor today and they found no blood or infection in the urine. Gave me flexoril and said it's probably a pulled muscle. By the way, I don't have any history with kidney stones but my dad has had gout and uric acid stones sometimes. Anyway, the only diet changes lately have been drinking coffee and taking Pepcid. Thanks for you help!!
-
ANSWER:
The might be a formation of urate crystals or some other mineral crystals in your bladder. When you were dehydrated, the kidney reabsorbed more water back into the bloodstream from tubules in the kidneys. That will result in the increase of the concentration of the urine that enter the bladder. When this concentration reaches the saturation point where the minerals cannot be dissolved anymore, crystallization happens and a tiny stone might have formed and stuck somewhere in the wall lining of the bladder. When there is more urine enter into the bladder, the pressure pushes the crystal against the wall and cause the pain you were suffering. If you want to confirm it, you might need to go for a X-Ray. But I have to tell you if that crystal is a pure uric acid crystal, it is not visible under X-ray because it is transparent.
Here is the dilemma, if you don't drink water, more or bigger crystal might form. If you drink more water, you might feel the pain more often. Personally, I will go for drinking more water and urinate frequently, at least the chance of dissolving (melting) and flush out the crystal is higher. Otherwise, you might need to go for surgery to remove the stones.

QUESTION:
Help! I have been in hospital 2 times with "kidney stone pains", nausea, and now heartburn! Need to know cause
I have been in the hospital before, due to kidney stones. But the past two weeks have been very strange for me. I have been in the ER twice for "kidney stone pain", I was incredibly nauseated, and puked in the hospital parking lot, I was prescribed "Ciprofloxacin" because I also had a Urinary track infection, & it's been over a week since I was in the hospital. I keep having themost intense heartburn/chest pains, but I want to wait it out at home. I have also been more anxious this week, more than any other week in my life, & I have no idea why. I am not sure if the medicine causes this? I have also switched my diet, as i am now a vegan, & do not eat meat, though I used to eat Pizza Hut chicken wings like there was no tomorrow, so maybe the uric acid has something to do with this. I have a yeast infection now because of taking the "cipro" but my heartburn lasts for about 12 hours, non stop, and hurts & makes me short of breath. I take tums, senna laxitive, and advil pm, nothing helps!!-
ANSWER:
Have you read the pamphlet that comes with the pills? My experience has been that anti-b's cause a lot of side effects. If the side effect is something to worry about, it'll tell you.In either case, I would mention it to the doctor.
I took Levaquin and it made me very jumpy, I had trouble getting to sleep, and my sleep was restless.
It's good that you've gone veg - animal proteins are believed to contribute to stones.

QUESTION:
I need someone with medical understanding.?
I am a 35 year old male. 6’1 320 lb… Married and a father of two children… I am sick almost all the time. Into my mid 20s I was an athlete. When I had an injury that the doctors called a soft tissue injury of the ankle… They treated this by throwing pain killers at me for 7 years until I saw a specialist who told me it was in fact acute gout. I was told additionally I have a genetic condition called hyperlipidima my body naturally makes to many lipids. I was told they were over 10,000. Needless to say they were amazed I was alive. I have normal to low blood pressure. My cholesterol was 280…and is now 200. last time I had it checked. I have an uncler where my esophagus meets my stomach. They gave me a generic form of nexium to fix it. And it did from what I can tell.
I have this wonderful pain in my abdomen like all my organs get swollen and I also at that time double over in pain from cramps, as well as excessive gas and belching some kind of sulfur smelling something… It makes me vomit and have diarrhea to the point I lay on the bathroom floor and just hope if I was to fall asleep I would not wake up. I am tired, angry, cranky, depressed, and at a total loss. I talk to the doctor who tells me to losse weight. So, I try and well when I move it feels like 10000000 pins are slamming through my ankle so exercise is not easy. I can’t swim because I live in a cold weather region. I break bikes…flat out. I have lost 30 lb by diet modification. I cut out sugar and soda. I eat more veggies and less fats and red meat. Mostly because if I don’t I get a massive wave of pain from eating that stuff. I don’t sleep well… I have trouble breathing….I can’t stand for more then 2o min at a time…and if I do I can’t move for 3 days unless u take 800 mg anti-inflammation drugs. I have uric acid deposits in my feet. I take alloperinol for that when I can afford it. I can’t do this anymore. This needs to get fixed or I am a dead man. Oh and I have kidney stones…too…weee.-
ANSWER:
It sounds like you've taken the first step with your diet modifications. My experience with exercising while injured is that a recumbent bike at a commercial gym is the only way to go to start. If you have your doctor order it, the gym membership may be covered by insurance or at least tax deductible. For me, it was overwhelming looking at how much had to happen for me to get better. It wasn't just the weight loss. It was the illnesses and surgeries, etc. It just seemed hopeless. I was reminded that you eat an elephant one day at a time. All I had to do was show up every morning at the gym regardless of how I felt and just do SOMETHING! I felt better mentally but not physically for a while.
The stomach stuff was paralyzing at times. I worked with a great gastroenterologist who did exploratory surgery and found my bowel had migrated over to the left side and was twisting on itself. I had to be persistent though. It took over a year to get that resolved.
Had to have knees replaced. One was put in wrong and was replaced again. Then it was the shoulder. Then carpal tunnel. Now it's ankle fusion. (you might want to look into that)
My point is, as long as you are doing something to try to make yourself better every single day, then you are fighting the good fight. Don't quit! Yes, I know it's painful and everyday won't feel like a good one, but just hang in there. One day at a time. I have to stay away from the pain meds too because of depression. That really sucks sometimes.
I think you really want to get better or you wouldn't have changed your diet. Set another goal. A reasonable one. And make a move toward it. Sometimes it seems like two steps forward and one step back but that's better than the alternative.
I wish you all the best!

QUESTION:
Desperately need serious help ... weird health problem?
I am at my obesity first stage for 2 years and I know It's kind of serious. So i tried my best to exercise as much as I could. I cannot jog cos my body is too heavy and I walk a lot. I stay separately with my family and just rent a room where cooking is not allowed. So I've been eating outside food (mean unhealthy food) for 8 years!I have Uric acid for 2 years but I could feel now It's getting more serious. I tried to control my food but I can't due to some reasons and I LOVE eating. I don't have much friends and no family around here so in other words I lack of support from People around me which sometimes make me feel lazy and give up on diet and exercise. This year I could feel my knees (joint) pain when I squat and I'm not sure for what reason my lower leg around ankle pain . I tried to drink as much water as possible. Another problem is about kidney/ bladder. I always feel something pulling and very pain about 3-4 inch below my belly ? Is it prostate? uterus ? or what? STONES ? any comment?
Another funny problem occur is I'm having sleeping problem for years. I don't have any stress and I'm very relax minded person. Sometime I can stay awake for 3 days without sleeping (just rest and close my eyes) I'm serious, no joking . I thought I'm having paranoia/ insomnia or whatever but doctor said I'm fine ? I am fat but I lack of blood ... and I don't have any chance to join any blood donation activities. If I could get better sleep the earliest I can sleep is 3 am and wake up at 7 am. Sometimes I sleep for 3 hours only for few months and I really feel like giving up my life ... It's freaking tired when I work without getting proper sleep. I tried many times to sleep early but end up I just wasting my time turning around the bed for hours. All tips I get from Internet I've tried but seems to be useless for me?
Now I'm having problems like getting dark spots, dry skin, low energy and pimples on the face and my skin contour/ texture getting worse and I get fine lines under my eyes at age 25! All thanks to my sleeping disorder. Since June started to hate my throat cos when I sleep I couldn't breath so I have to sleep side ways. I thought due to my double chin but doctor said no problems and gave me some medicine. After few weeks it (my throat problem) came back 2 weeks and gone for 3 weeks and come back to visit me again (on and off). Then my hip keep on getting the skin swelling boil things (ulcerate/ abscess). My eyes keep on coming tears/ watery and it feel pains and hot. There was few times I feel like my rib cage pain and feels like pulling up and down. Sometimes my chest pain ? Or may be liver problem due to uric acid? My spine stiff and I always pain here and there and now due to the pain at my lower leg ankle , am I having diabetics? My grandma had it !! I've done last body check up on April this years and so far doctor said only have to watch out my Uric Acid but still no need to take any medicine. I tried to consume supplements (very good n expensive brand) but after eating I felt my heart pumping faster and I gain weight ... very uncomfortable, then I stop taking any of it .... Am i alien? I'm sick keep on seeing doctor and pay for stupid unnecessary medication and consultation fee and doctors/ clinics are doing business sometime I don't need the stupid cream I also have to pay for it. I think I'm going to die.
Any idea how to overcome all these ?
Thanks for your advise.
My obesity problem caused serious problem only for Uric Acid. Other matters (especially sleeping problem) have been occurred before I started overweight. I was size 11 last 3 years.-
ANSWER:
Hi - as you mention prostate, I take it that you are a guy.ALL of your symptoms are weight related.
Consuming supplements and buying creams cannot help you in any way, until you understand this simple formulae:
*overeating + underexercising = obesity / obesity = ill health and early death*
You have sleep apnoea due to the flab at the back of your throat choking off your air supply when you try and sleep.
You cannot sleep properly because you are inactive and because your poor body is trying to digest large amounts of unhealthy food.
Your skin is swollen and boggy due to too much fat and water-retention caused by lack of exercise and too much salty processed foods. Inevitably this will lead to ulceration, or the lesions of diabetes.
ALL of the organs in your body are now coated with a thick layer of yellow glutinous fat. They cannot help but give you symptoms such as those that you describe.
Your joints are giving up because they cannot support your weight.
Your facial skin is coarse and spotty because of the lack of good healthy food and the overeating of greasy fast foods.
You need desperately to get to a Doctor (change your Doctor if you need to), and go on a healthy eating plan suitable for you.
But this cannot and will not work until you face up to the fact that the thing that you love most in the world, your food, is killing you.
Good luck for the future.
